Could you be our new social media lead?
Social media is a vital part of WGHUK communications to build a national community, maintain visibility, and engage with stakeholders. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the WGHUK committee as social media lead.
The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

Manage the WGHUK twitter account

Work with communications coordinator to create social media strategy to increase the reach of WGHUK

Implement innovative ways to engage and expand online community

Distribute relevant content and opportunities

Respond to enquiries and interactions via social media platforms
We are looking for someone who:

Is familiar with using twitter

Is able to think strategically about using social media to drive engagement

Has some knowledge of the global health and gender equity landscape

Previous relevant experience is desirable but not necessary: for example, a proven track record of successful social media use would be beneficial
This role will involve a time commitment of approximately 2hrs per week, noting this may vary according to Women in Global Health events.
All positions are voluntary and unpaid. We know that it can be hard to balance commitments, so if you would love to join the team but might not have the capacity to take on a full role then why not consider job sharing?
